I'm in.

I'll take the Bengals,Baltimore,Dallas and Green Bay.

That way,at least we have something to talk about.I couldn't go against my National League team, the Packers.(I rooted for them, while the Browns were in "transition")

Looking at these games,it's really up in the air.How can I justify taking the Bengals, who looked awful yesterday? How can you take the Eagles, after that drubbing Dallas dealt them?As for the Ravens,it has more to do with Wes Welker being out than anything else. That, and Brady's 3 broken ribs, and broken finger on his throwing hand. And the Ravens pass rush.

I'd like to see a Bengals-Packers Super Bowl.My guess is that's about 100-1.Because the Bengals.They appear to be falling apart,without Rey-Rey,or Henry.It's a shame.

The Packers are my favorite, for wild cards,to get to the Super Bowl.Say 10-1.They've shown they can play all phases of the game well.On any given Sunday...

I'd love to see a Bengals-Packers super bowl. The Packers have always been my favorite NFC team, but that matchup is very unlikely. As of right now im thinking it'l be Minnesota vs San Diego but that could change.

Jets, Baltimore, Dallas, Green Bay.

The Bengals aren't as good as most people think. Remember they have played one of the easiest schedules in the league. The Jets have a very good defense and have what it takes to shut down Cincy.

My bold pick is Baltimore over New England. I think that Baltimore's defense is good enough to stop a Wes Welker-less New England team.

I thought about taking Baltimore for that very reason but New England has done a good job against teams who run the football and cant pass that well, which is what Baltimore is. Joe Flacco literally has 0 weapons on that team right now. Unless Ed Reed has the incredible performance he did in last years playoffs, I see that Patriots pulling it out in a close one.

I went bold with the Bengals because I think kinda like Philly, they took the game off last week,in order to get the same opponent this week. That was a huge "last" game at the Meadowlands. It was the Jets playing at their best, against a team that didn't mind giving them an in.
The same can be said for Philly, but I think the difference between Romo and Sanchez will be the difference between winning and losing for the teams involved. Can you imagine Palmer throwing for 0 yds. again?
Another reason is the Bengals are playing at home, like the Cowboys.Which is going against my pick of the Ravens, who will be playing in Foxboro, where the Pats are undefeated this season.

Go Browns!!!

Looks like I just need a GB win to become 4-0 in the first week. Woot. :D

I thought the Packers got the shaft. Why didn't the refs review the last play?Rodgers was facemasked. It's a shame they let the game end like that. How about the play before that?Head to head contact, and no call. That's the lousy side of the game.I still can't believe they didn't at least REVIEW the play. Now both "my" teams are out.So I'll start picking who I think will win.Let's see.

I'll take the Saints,Colts,Vikings, and Chargers.I'm bound to miss on one, right?

I hope neither Indy nor B-more win that game...BLECH i can't stand either of them. I'll take chargers over Jets even though i like the both of them.  Vikes over the 'Boys(yes, i am picking against my armageddon theory) and saints over cards because i just like the saints for no apparent reason.  I guess i like indy (slightly) better than the team that was stolen from my city so I'll go with them.

Though I'm taking all the home teams,I'd rather see the Ravens,Cowboys, and especially the Cardinals win, this weekend.Along with the Chargers.I don't like any NY teams, regardless of the sport.

I've been a  Kurt Warner fan since the League gift wrapped him for the Browns when we came back into existence, back in 1999...Too bad those bungling idiots went for Couch.
We could have had Warner,or McNabb. It's funny,we just might have one of them starting for the Browns next year,in the twilight of their careers.

Go Browns!!!

Go Cardinals!

Actually, I'm taking the Chargers, Ravens, Cardinals and Vikings.

I'm changing it up. Only because I've been saying that the Ravens are going to upset Indy all week, and for some reason I just posted on here not confirming the same.

All these games can swing either way. It's hard to tell which team is gonna show up.The Saints were able to turn "it" right back on,or the Cards could have carried their momentum past them. That first Saints drive,if they don't get that first third down, and punt, instead of answering right away, who knows?Beanie wasn't getting any holes, either.I highly doubt Warner will retire. He has ten million reasons to stay.
As for the Ravens, they just couldn't catch a break all night.Did you hear who Ozzie drafted in "96"?(They mentioned it during the game).Ogden and Lewis. And the Colts defense surprised me.I thought it would be a close one, with our former kicker,Matt Stover, beating the team that he has the record of most points for, since their inception.
Those picks took some brass. You get kudos for that.

I give the home teams six points for this round, instead of three, like during the season.Three for being the home team, and three for getting a week off,to rest, and prepare.I saw a stat last night that the number one seeds are 18-2 in the last 10 years in the first round.

I think Warner will retire

If his team wasn't so good, and built around him,I'd give it a second thought. Are you basing it on his concusions/injuries?He was looking pretty bleak in the postgame interview, but once he steps back, and thinks about it,his competetiveness will take over,IMHO,anyway.Besides,10mil!!!

Warners attitude just kind of bugs me lately, don't get me wrong I think he's a great QB and a good story, but he just seems like if there not going to be winning and I'm not in the spotlight and if I'm getting hit like crazy I'll call it quits. Well they lost and he got knocked out. To me that points to him retiring but we will see.

Epic fail on my part.

I'm taking the Colts to be the AFC champs. I really am struggling with who to pick in the NFC, both teams are playing the best they can which is a really high level. However I don't like that Minnesota is forgetting they have Adrian Peterson because Bret Farve is there and the Saints have home field advantage so I guess I'll pick them.

Colts and Saints

I'll take Minny and Indy. Minny will win the whole thing.
