Check out this article,in todays News-Herald.Notice near the end,where Mark Clayton says that Mangini will not be retained by Holgrem,citing an undisclosed source.Fact?..Depends on how much you trust Mark Clayton.

 And this is the news breaking article published after the morning edition came out.It appears that Jeff Schudel thinks that the Browns need only to execute the Rooney Rule (interview a minority) before they can try to pull the deal off.Also,Seattle has only lukewarm interest in him,so he'll either come to us,or wait.I doubt he'll wait.
  The only concern I have,he wasn't very successful as the GM in Seattle,but flourished once he went back to coaching.Will he have a repeat performance here?He's 61.
   I am hoping that he brings in Jon Gruden,even though just weeks ago he told Tony Grossi he hasd an ironclad deal with ESPN,with no-out clause,for next season.

Yeah my fingers are crossed that were just waiting to interveiw a minority which hopefully wont take more then one day, but I dont know why money has yet to be discussed. 

I wouldn't expect Gruden to come, he's done a great job as a commentator so I'm sure the rumors are true about him not being able to opt out. But the likelihood of getting Charlie Weiss to come in is definitely higher then before, which excites me. How amazing would it be if we had Holmgren = GM, Gruden= HC, Weiss= OC, Ryan= DC 

I think there's a big chance we get Weis.

Thats what Mike Holmgren said when asked about what he would do with Mangini, if hes hired as head of football operations.

Since firing Cam Cameron, Miami is 18-11. Being 11-5 in 2008, and bein 7-6 this season.

I'd say that was a smart move.

espn just reported that Seattle offered him a senior leadership position and he turned it down. I wouldnt be surprised to see him accept our offer as soon as tomorrow :)

And I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to become the Head Coach/operations guy,and bring in a GM to handle the draft/contracts.That part about doing everything in his power....I missed that part.
 It's been reported he'll make about 50 mil for 5 years.I think that includes Coaching.This is looking really good for Cleveland.Finally.Weis next!
   Regarding keeping BQ,remember how good a job Holgrem has done bringing along QBs in the past.
Big plus.I think he'll bring in free agents Mangini couldn't,too.
