Pick 3 games
My top 3 picks for this weekend;
PITT -3 at CHI
BALT -3 at SAN DIEGO
CLE +3 at Denver
3 AFC Northers,all away.
Go Browns!!!
Nobody else wants to give their top picks?OK.
You shoulda seen my other picks.I'm worse than Vegas Vic.
OK,this week I'm goin'
TENN -2 1/2 at JETS
NEW ORLEANS -6 at BUFFALO
CLE +23 1/2 at BALT
Go Browns!!!
There's a patteren evolving here.I'm 50-50 without my homer Browns pick, and I get the first pick wrong, followed by the next pick right.Having said that,I'll pick against CLE next week, along with my first pick, while going against my second pick. That should do it.
TENN -3 at JAGS
NE -2 vs. RAVENS
CHARGERS + 6.5 at PITT
Tenn needs victory now, will take care of lesser team.
Ray Lewis hurt.Brady getting warmed up.
Pitt showing true colors after totally lucking out, game after game last year, culminating in the Luckybowl, where they were dominated, yet lucked there ugly pathetic black and yellow selves to another lucky ring. This was the luckiest yet. They must live solely on lucky charms.Besisde Troy P.is still out.
Browns + 6 vs.Bengals
Even with Lewis out,the running game will have enough success for DA to draw in the safeties on lay-action,and he'll underthrow the recievers just enough that they make the catch, and get slammed to the ground.Playing at home, with the refs in our pockets,we should catch Cincy looking ahead to their next weeks opp,the Ravens. The defense will play just enough to eek it out.Get your beer helmets on,it's gonna be a doozy!
If we get creamed,I'll flip!!!
(apparently the oddsmakers agree with dabrowns41 assessment of the Bengals, because 6 points ain't a heckuvalot to a team that's been pounded like ours, playing a team that's only loss came on a lucky last gasp play. The fact that point spread hasn't jumped, many people agree that the Bengals are appearing to look better than they are.)
There's a pattern alright.
I'm a lousy prognosticator.
But if one this is positive,I'm always right with my second pick,so far.
Anyone care to know what my second pick,a sure winner for next week is?
For a small donation, only twenty clams, given this is a rare opportunity to win mega-bucks,on my almost certain sure-thing.......
![]()
OK,it time again to make my picks,as ugly as they may turn out.
CINN +8.5 at BALT
MINN -10 at ST. LOUIS
ARIZ -5.5 vs. HOUSTON
Baltimore will have it's hands full, might even lose this one.won't win going away.Final score will be close.
Minnesota will pad offensive stats here,St.Louis taking the year off.
Arizona will open up on Houston, win going away.I know that's repetitive. And it doesn't even make sense."Going away" is probably a term that George Carlin would hit me with a ballbat,if he heard me using it.
As for the Browns game, shouldn't WE be giving the six?Heck, that's my pick of the week!
Go Browns!!!
Blind squirrel finds a nut alert!!!
Oh,yeah, that was like taking candy from a baby. That's the ticket!
I'm here all year.Can I win again?
Stay tuned...same brownsnation time, same brownsnation channel(batman reference to you youngins)!!!
Go Browns!!!
Is anyone else game for this challenge?C'mon,dabrowns41,surely you can pick 3?![]()
It's just for fun.gobrowns216,Zaklco?
I just google "lastest line".I can't cut and paste the link, for some reason.Latest line,it's the first page.Just pick before Sunday....I was thinking,we could pick a top three, and then pick 'em all.Just make your first 3 your faves, then the rest. Every win in the top 3 gets you 2 points.Every win the rest of the way gets you 1....
14 games total,possible 17 points.
That's what I'm gonna start doing.It's up to you/youns.![]()
Go Browns!!!

zaklco;in your top three picks, both teams are in italics.I can't decipher who your choices are.
My cut and paste isn't working.darn kids!I'll have to find out what's up.
Here goes;I'm taking the team on the left.

KC +6.5 at Wash
Cinci -5 vs. Houston
Cleve. +14 at Pitt
Jack -9.5 vs.Rams

Thanks,zaklco.Anyone else up for it?
That was weird. Anyway, top 3
Kansas City +6.5 at Washington
Jacksonville -9.5 vs St. Louis
Jets -9.5 vs Buffalo
One thing.Ties get zero.Thought I'd include that.
Well.well.Shoulda just bet against myself across the board.Just goes to show how much parity is in the NFL.And how much is skill, and how much luck enters in.And how Vegas has turned the NFL into a cash cow.Just when it looks like a team is a sure loser, most of the time they pull out the upset, with the spread.Heck, the Bucs and the Lions were the only poor teams to lose.Scratch that.I guess the Titans are officially a poor team, now. What a fallout.Too bad they don't play the Redskins next. That would be seven weeks, without the Skins playing a team that had even one victory.Talk about an easy schedule.
Congradulations, you're up 2.With both of us taking the Broncos tonight,it's a wash.
So we can either say,6-4/7-5,or just the differential, and spare us both. With differential anyone can get in later, and start even with the bottom. So you're up 2 on anyone who might join in.C'mon,dabrowns41,gobrowns216,or anyone with a pulse, take a chance.
O.K.Time to get back on track. That's the ticket.
Top 3
Chicago -1.5 at Cincy
Jets -6 at Oak
Saints -6.5 at Miami That's 3 away teams...
The rest
Chargers -5 at KC
Colts -13.5 at Rams
Packers -7.5 at Browns 7 starters have the flu,Cribbs injured knee, status unknown
Minn +4 at Stealers
NE -14.5 vs.Bucs (Wimbley)
49ers +3 at Houston
Bills +7 at Carolina
ATL. +4 at Dallas
Cards + 4 at Giants
Philly -7 at Skins
So I picked all away teams except one, neutral. Not braggin' or nothin'(right)but I went to England for the Browns-Eagles game back in "88",I think. It was just pre-season.Bernie.Wimbley Stadium.I had a Browns jersey, and was approached a dozen times, for an autograph. No bull.If you ever get a chance, that's a partying town, after dark. There's underground music, and plenty of locals who are very friendly.Take you home friendly,if you know what I mean.(Nod nod, wink wink).

Wholey-shmoleys,this ain't easy.
I get 11-7,so I've leapt into the lead,Up 2.
I went against my Euclidean, and went for a more "Boolian" logic this time. But I'll bet that isn't gonna help more than half the time.
Unless I get lucky.
