No Hope For This Year........
Well, for the second year in a row,........wait, make that the third, er, fourth? Oh well, you can really tell that July is over by the firesale going on at Progressive Field. Were now as bad as the mighty teams of the 60's, 70's and 80's again. Who says you can't go home. Here in Cleveland sports (and I use that term very loosely), home is where the Owners money isn't. Attendance, Sha-men-dance! We're just the minor league flunkies for the bigger market cities. Hope that it gets better real soon, though. (I'm not holding my breath).....Go Browns??????????
Baseball needs a salary cap, it's terrible. The disparity between the payrolls of the highest and lowest teams is astronomical. Such a shame that the Indians and Browns can't have ownership the likes of the Cavs. And yet I watch, always waiting for next year.

I just don't understand why we trade Francisco and call up Crowe over LaPorta, who is raking down in Columbus. LaPorta is the future at left field. He has potential to be a Ryan Braun type. Bring him up and get him some at bats so he can get prepped for Spring Training.
