This is my prediction for next years season, now that the schedule is out.

1. Minnesota=L (but just barley if we can stop AP but there defense will be to good)
2. @ Denver=W (shouldve beat them last year with Cutler as their QB)
3. @ Baltimore= W (their denfense lost alot of ppl in free agency and im not sold on Flacco)
4. Cincinnati=W (I think we will split this series)
5. @ Bills= W (TO will have ruined their team by then)
6. @ Steelers= L (Pains me to do it but were not ganna beat them in Pittsburg yet)
7. Green Bay= W (Their switching to a 3-4 this year so everyone will be learning this year for them)
8. @ Chicago= L (Could go either way but were not a very lucky team)
9. BYE
10. Baltimore= W (i really hope we dont lose to them at home)
11. @ Detriot= W (we better)
12. @ Cincinnati= L (this could easily be a win but with a healthy Carson and in their stadium they might win)
13. San Diego= W (being optimstic but I wouldnt be surprised if their running game disapears this year and Merriman didnt play at all last year)
14. Steelers= L (I really really hope not but lets be honest)
15. @ Kansas City= W (I dont think Cassel will be that good)
16. Oakland=W (Unless Russel  fufillls his potential)
17. Jacksonville= W (beat them last year, can do it again)

Hmm 11-5, its a really easy schedule so I think we can get this if Quinn turns out to be good and there arnt alot of injuries. 11-5 doesnt seem likley but look who were playing

Thoughts?

I like the optimism gobrowns216.  I'm gonna have to hold off on my predictions until after the draft.

This is the first time the schedule has been released that I haven't immediately at least thought about how these games could play out.

But I can't predict anything because I don't know who our QB, RB, WR, RG, RT, DE's, OLB's, CB's or S's are going to be.

I have no idea what's going on with this team, so, like zaklco, I'm going to hold off until a bit later.

Yep,Alex Mack would look awfully good in Brown.

We have a solid center in Rex Hadnot.

And I'm not using a last first/early second on a freakin' center. That's almost as stupid as drafting one of these two QB's.

Antoine Caldwell in the 3rd (assuming we get a third from someone) is what we need to look at.

Use the 1sts and 2nds for positions of much bigger need.

Hadnot has played center most of his life, and it's his best position.

Too early.Don't have a grip on our team, let alone all our opponents. How about late August?

I will NOT concede anything to the Steenkers!!!

Week 2 vs. Pittspuke was in our grasp last year. And even Tim Couch beat them in Ketchup Park.

You wanna know why the wind in Ohio goes from west to east?

Because Michigan blows,and Pittsburgh sucks!!!

I know Hadnot can hold down the center position, but has he been moved there officially?  Technically, we don't know who will be playing center.

That's true, but he's the only one that can really play it, and play it effectively. I'm just assuming at this point, however.

If we end up with two 1sts and 3 2nds,which seems a real possibility,it would be stupid to ignore the position and guy like Mack.

Just throwing this out there, Mack is good and all, but he is also already 24.

From what I read he's 23.Won't be 24 until 11/19.I'm not trying to imply he should be a priority pick, but I read somewhere we have shown interest in him.If we end up with 5 picks in the first 2 rounds, and he's the best player available,a franchise Center should be attractive to us.

We're in yet another weak, yet deep center draft class.

Alex Mack and Antoine Caldwell are the best two in here.

Mack will require a first rounder for those who want to pay too much to beef up their line, and Caldwell, the best overall of the two, will only cost a 3rd.

Your right zigg, I screwed the pooch on my arithmetic.

All these prospects that should slip to the third, if only we had one!

Well,if the experts have it all wrong,I guess we should just trade all of our 1st & 2nd round picks for #3's then.

Wow...11-5 !?!?  I have no optimism right now for this season, we might pull out 4 or 5 wins.  Do you guys really think the draft is going to take us over the top?  Seriously, the Lions are going to beat us this year.  I am still remembering the 6 straight games without an offensive TD.

Hadnot moving to center?  This guy is a backup lineman at best.  I thought he would be cut coming out of the preseason games last year.  Guys, seriously...there is almost no talent on this team offensively.  C,RG,RT are below average at best.  Jamal is a huge question mark, Jerome Harrison is unproven, K2 is gone, looks like we are trading Braylon, Stallworth is lost, two unproven/inconsitent QBs, absolutely no skill position depth, and few draft picks.

We went 6 straight games without an offensive TD because the lack of an actual QB and only having one player trying anymore (jamal lewis).
