According to a report in the Birmingham News, Savage will serve as the radio color commentator for Alabama’s annual spring game April 18. Savage, who was born in Mobile, AL, and began his football career as a graduate assistant for the Tide, says this is a one-shot deal, but makes it very clear that he would like to continue the gig for a lot longer than that.
